This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how SATO Labs LLC, a Delaware limited liability company with operations based in Beirut, Lebanon ("SATO Labs," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you access or use the website located at getreatd.com, the treatd mobile application, and the treatd pro platform (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, do not access or use the Service.
"Customer" means an individual who uses the Service to discover and book appointments with Studios.
"Studio" means a business or individual practitioner that uses treatd pro to manage bookings, clients, staff, and operations.
"Studio Personnel" means an employee or staff member of a Studio who accesses the Service under an employee role.
"Studio Client" means an individual whose Personal Information a Studio records in the Service in connection with the Studio's own client relationships, whether or not that individual is a Customer.
"Personal Information" means information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked with an individual.
"Sensitive Information" means Personal Information revealing health conditions and similar categories treated as sensitive under applicable law, and identifiable images of an individual.
"User" means any Customer, Studio, Studio Personnel, or other individual accessing the Service.
We collect the following categories of information, depending on how you use the Service:
3.1 Information Customers Provide. When you register, join our waitlist, contact us, or submit forms, we collect information such as your full name, gender, profile photograph, email address, phone number, and your service and subcategory preferences and notification preferences.
3.2 Precise Location and Addresses. With your permission, we collect precise geolocation (device GPS latitude and longitude) to show nearby Studios and enable location-based features. You may enable or disable location access through your device settings. We also collect any addresses you save, including home and other saved addresses used for at-home appointments (street, building name, floor, and label).
3.3 Information Studios and Studio Personnel Provide. Studios provide business profile information, including business name, business email and phone, address and coordinates, social handles, and logo and cover images. Studio Personnel provide their name, email, avatar, role, working hours, and availability.
3.4 Information Studios Provide About Studio Clients. Studios may record information about their own Studio Clients within treatd pro, including a client's name, phone number, email, and photograph; free-text notes; tags (such as VIP, regular, or no-show); preferred staff; custom per-client pricing; and before-and-after gallery images linked to a client. Some of this information constitutes Sensitive Information, including client allergy information and identifiable client images. This information is handled in accordance with Section 5.3.
3.5 Booking and Usage Information. When bookings are made or received through the Service, we collect appointment details, including services, assigned staff, times, status, no-show records, at-home appointment addresses, and appointment notes. We also collect reviews, ratings, and review text; reschedule requests, proposals, and related messages; notification records and read status; and your saved Studios and availability alerts.
3.6 Studio Subscription Records. For Studios, we maintain subscription tier, billing history, and invoice records associated with treatd pro. The Service does not process online or card payments and does not store payment card numbers.
3.7 Automatically Collected Information. When you access the Service, we automatically collect technical and usage information, including IP address, device identifiers, push notification tokens and device platform, authentication identifiers, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and interactions with the Service. Certain data (such as location, filters, and cached content) is stored locally on your device to operate the application. We collect information through cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 8.
We use Personal Information for the following purposes:
5.1 Service Providers. We disclose Personal Information to third-party service providers that perform services on our behalf, including hosting and authentication (Supabase), and advertising and analytics (Meta). Each service provider is contractually obligated to process Personal Information only as instructed by us and to maintain appropriate security measures.
5.2 Between Customers and Studios. Information necessary to fulfill a booking, including a Customer's name, contact details, service selection, appointment time, and, for at-home appointments, the relevant address, will be disclosed to the relevant Studio. Studios are independently responsible for their handling of Customer information once received.
5.3 Studio Client Data; Controller and Processor Roles. With respect to information a Studio records about its Studio Clients (Section 3.4), the Studio acts as the controller of that information and determines the purposes and means of its processing. SATO Labs acts as a processor and processes such information only to provide the Service to the Studio and on the Studio's instructions. Each Studio represents and warrants that it has a lawful basis and, where required, the consent of the relevant individual to record and process such information through the Service, including any Sensitive Information such as allergy details and client images. A Studio Client wishing to access, correct, or delete information held about them by a Studio should contact the relevant Studio directly; SATO Labs will provide reasonable assistance to the Studio in responding to such requests.
5.4 Legal Requirements. We may disclose Personal Information where required to do so by law, legal process, or governmental request, or where necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our Users or the public.
5.5 Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, Personal Information may be transferred as part of such transaction, subject to the terms of this Policy.
5.6 No Sale of Personal Information. We do not sell Personal Information to third parties.
We retain Personal Information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the Service, or as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Following account deletion, Personal Information will be removed from our active systems within thirty (30) days, subject to retention requirements imposed by applicable law. Backup copies may persist for up to ninety (90) days following deletion. Information a Studio records about Studio Clients is retained on the Studio's behalf and handled in accordance with Section 5.3 and the Terms of Service.
Subject to applicable law, you may exercise the following rights with respect to your Personal Information:

SATO Labs LLC is a U.S.-registered entity operating from Lebanon. Personal Information may be processed and stored on infrastructure located outside Lebanon, including in jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of data protection as your country of residence. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers. Where required by applicable law, we implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of sixteen (16). We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under 16. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a person under 16, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may amend this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the Effective Date above and, where appropriate, by notifying you through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the amended Policy.
